At NN Foundry Aluminum Plant, the installation and integration of a Siemens S7 PLC-based aluminum casting line automation and SCADA system were successfully completed.

Project Scope and Activities

Siemens S7 PLC-Based Automation:
Using Siemens S7 PLCs in the production line, full automation of every stage of the casting process was achieved. The automation system enabled precise control of critical operations such as molding, metal pouring, cooling, and processing.

SCADA System Implementation:
With the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system, operators were provided with real-time monitoring and control of all processes in the casting line. The system enabled immediate response to potential deviations on the line, minimizing production downtime.

Remote Monitoring and Control:
Through the integration of Siemens PLC and SCADA systems, operators were enabled to monitor and control the production process remotely. This capability allows for fast intervention both locally and from remote locations.
